Guerra 1855
In 1855, master hat maker GUERRA received the first order to supply hats for the proud Savoy army. Craftsmen and true 'hat artists' joined the existing ones, leading the hat factory to its maximum expansion. The crisis in the sector in the 1950s led to exports to increasingly distant countries and markets, which appreciated the art, passion, and tenacity of such a unique product.
From 1855 until today, many things have changed, but the hat has always witnessed events, worn by generals and rebels, merchants and artisans, scholars and writers, poets and reactionaries, statesmen and heads of state alike.
