Basic Hat Making Course
Spend a day in the historic workshop of Sombrerería Mil and discover the secrets of the hat-making craft with Núria Arnau, fourth-generation master artisan. You will learn the basic techniques to mold, shape, and personalize your own hat, in an authentic environment where tradition and creativity meet.
During the workshop, you will handcraft your own hat, using professional materials and techniques of the trade. The resulting piece —a handmade hat valued at €150— will be yours to take home, as a unique memento of the experience and the century-old expertise of Sombrerería Mil.

Once you complete your purchase, you will receive an email with a link to our calendar to choose the date that best suits you. Spaces are limited and assigned in order of registration. ✂️ Level and requirements: No prior hat-making experience is necessary, but basic sewing skills are recommended (threading a needle and simple stitches). Workshop language: Spanish and Catalan Location: Taller Sombrerería Mil – C/ Fontanella 20, Barcelona You will experience a unique journey in a space with over 160 years of history, where every hat is made the old-fashioned way: slowly and by hand.
Shipping and Returns
We ship within 2-5 business days in Spain (free for orders over €80). We also ship to Europe and other destinations.
You have 14 days to return your order if you are not satisfied. The product must be unused and in its original packaging.
Tips and recommendations
Our hats are shipped in a box with a specially designed protector to store and protect the hat. We recommend storing your hats protected in a box to prevent damage or deformation. Follow the washing and care instructions provided by each manufacturer. If you have any questions, please contact our specialist team at Sombrereria Mil. We will be happy to advise you! We have our own artisan workshop where we can customize, clean, restore, or create your hat. Please remember that the colors of the products you see on our website, due to various technical reasons, may differ slightly from the actual color of the product.
